Trust & Safety
Community Safety on Nimantra
Nimantra is built for genuine real-world gatherings in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Patan, and beyond. Here is how we safeguard hosts, guests, and community spaces.
1. Verified Organizers & Hosts
Hosts on Nimantra connect their real social identities and local payment accounts (Khalti, eSewa, or bank settlement). We actively review public listings, verify identity before ticket payouts, and maintain clear organizer reputations across communities.
2. Private Venues & Approval Gates
For private meetups, founder dinners, or apartment jams, hosts can enable “Approval Required” or hide the exact address until an RSVP is accepted. This prevents gatecrashing and keeps intimate spaces safe.
3. Secure QR Passes & Anti-Fraud
Every registration produces a cryptographically verifiable QR ticket. Organizers scan attendees at check-in using the Express Check-in scanner, preventing counterfeit passes, double admissions, and unauthorized entry.
4. Zero Tolerance for Harassment
We have zero tolerance for hate speech, predatory behavior, unconsented filming, or physical harassment at any event hosted on Nimantra. Organizers reserve the right to revoke passes, and Nimantra immediately bans accounts violating our standards.
5. Incident Reporting & Direct Support
If you experience or witness an issue at an event or encounter a fraudulent listing, reach out to our Nepali Support Desk directly. Reports are treated confidentially and reviewed within hours.
